Pure Placements is recruiting a Finance Manager for a fast-growing BPO in the online trading and financial investment space. This is a senior finance leadership role, reporting to the Group CFO, with real influence over the company’s financial strategy and direction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to support business objectives
- Preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely insight for decision-making
- Managing cash flow and implementing efficient cash management practices
- Establishing strong internal financial controls to safeguard company assets
- Overseeing budgeting and forecasting, with variance analysis and recommendations
- Managing the external audit process and ensuring compliance with FSCA regulatory requirements
- Handling tax strategy, filings and compliance with South African tax law
- Managing corporate banking relationships, including account openings for commercial and international entities
- Advising on FSCA regulatory changes and their impact on the business
- Building and leading a high-performing finance team
- Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required by the Group CFO
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CA(SA) certification preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in a financial accounting role, ideally in online trading or financial investments
- BPO experience advantageous
- Strong grasp of FSCA regulations and South African tax law
- Proficiency in Pastel/Priority and Excel
- Strong strategic, analytical and leadership capability
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives and board members
