The job
Design and implement the Data Loss Prevention solutions in line with the organization’s requirements and priorities.
The role focuses on looking after the planning, designing, technically implementing and subsequently maintaining the Data Loss Prevention capabilities, whilst working together with the business and other stakeholders. You would also be required to support the post-implementation efforts to ensure the solutions are maintained, changes are implemented and the solutions are delivering the expected value.
Keeping the Data Loss Prevention capabilities up & running (Operations) is part of your job!
Your profile
As a DLP Engineer, you will be working with on-premise, Azure and/or other cloud environments, system integration methods and Powershell.
You feel at home in a technical environment. You have an engineering mindset and have shown in the past that you are able to learn quickly and apply the learned skills immediately. You like to work together with other specialists and you know from experience that teamwork sets changes in motion.
You have worked with Data Loss Prevention solutions before and you understand the different techniques that can be used to prevent data loss from an endpoint, cloud as well as the network.
You are able to communicate with the business about the Data Loss Prevention capabilities.
Required skills
2-year engineering experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution suppliers like Microsoft; Forcepoint, Symantec or similar tools;
Preferably experience with the Microsoft security suite and/or compliance module (Certified in Microsoft SC-900, SC-400 and/or SC-200);
Demonstrable affinity with security aspects / securing IT applications and infrastructure;
Endpoint device (Windows/macOS) performance/network troubleshooting knowledge;
Experience in DevOps (agile way of working) environments; Meaning that you are able to design, test, implement and maintain a solution;
Able to understand PowerShell and bash scripts.
Experience with data classification and data labelling;
Experience with GDPR and Privacy laws.
Salary is dependent on experience.
